Hi
Just picked up a new project car 71 GS 455 coupe. made in Flint Michigan and exported to Canada. I have the option sheet from GM of Canada Vintage vehicle services. I see L74 which is straight forward. the one I am not sure of is WE4 GS 455 , they both state 455 engine . why the two codes. thanks Al ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sounds like a cool car!.
Isn't the WE4 the trim package that gives you the GS455 emblems etc?. ![]() ~ Pete

WE4 is the GS455 package. L74 is which engine goes in that package.
I don't know that both options would have actually shown up on the window sticker. The Canadian docs often break apart options that are included with other options.

The group that included the options and the options of the group broken out separately by RPO #.
