Hate to be "that guy" Bill; but.... a "Beemer" is a BMW motorcycle, and a "Bimmer" is a BMW car.
Does it matter in the grand scheme of things? Probably not. Mark Twain, when speaking of himself in the third person, stated: "Well, also he will notice in the course of time, as his reading goes on, that the difference between the almost right word and the right word is really a large matter—’tis the difference between the lightning-bug and the lightning." Twain later acknowledged some semi-plagiarism from his good friend, Josh Billing, who had said something similar many years earlier.

"I’m not overly happy with those door panels based on the placement of the window crank. I’m thinking after all is said and done and then car is disassembled for paint, I may install power windows to eliminate the regulator and move a “dummy” crank handle to the correct position allowing me to make another arm rest to the proper length. I know they make switches that you can mount a window crank on which gives the appearance of the manual window yet is the power window switch under it. We’lll see."
How much trouble would it be to make the window crank be the power window switch? Maybe you could put contacts inside the door panel so that if you move the crank up a little bit the window goes up and move down to lower the window. Just a thought.
