Wisconsin goes back 10 yrs. only. I'm sure if someone at the DMV wanted, they can go back and check the microfilm for past history, but that's too much like work. I was lucky in North Carolina to have someone dig back in the microfilm on my 69 Z. Cost me only $10.00.

Wow thanks for the update! I'm sure he's grateful for all the help he's got.
And I'm sure he has offers on the car. Hope to see it more as time goes on. |

This Nova story is full of holes.
![]() There are holes for Yenko 427 emblems and Yenko crest emblems , and holes for the SW tach monitor all where you would expect to see them. Would be nice to find 427 paperwork for it. I told him to search the home and garage for paper work and photos |

Owner highlighted the VIN on the list in his Nova Facebook post but it seems to have since been removed.

I saw the vin post too. Wish I would have screen shot it. Yes, the post on the Nova Community disappeared.

I never saw the VIN, but the body number is between two known cars. Someone said the VIN was on the list of 69 Yenko Nova's on this site.

I think we have all seen the implications of assuming a car is something without docs and doing our due diligence in terms of owner history. I don't know this car either way but I would not assume this car is anything until its proven. This happened with another 69 alleged Yenko Nova and it didn't fare so well. Proceed with caution.
If the car pans out to be a 427 SYC, wow, what a find. Docs and or original owner proof will quiet the skeptics. So far it looks compelling but I wouldn't assume. |
