Anyone else following the 1969 Nova maybe a Yenko thread on FB?

Guy posted he inherited the Nova from his uncle. Said the VIN is on the YSC registry. I see Joe Carella and Charley Lillard posting in the thread I figured some of you don't do FB.
I don't know how to directly link the thread, it's in this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheNovaNation |
That body number is right between two known Yenkos on the VIN list.

So Kool to find such a rare Super Car.

The car needs more research done.
I told him to get the NCRS shipping data report to see if it comes back to Yenko and to call Warren to see if he has anything. Check the car for holes on the rear for Yenko crest emblems or Yenko 427 Emblems Check the front fender for holes for 427 emblem. Check the rear gear and code there are other small detail items to check One Yenko 427 Nova was restored with the 1968 Impala 427 fender emblem/side light. Most of Yenko 427 Novas had the 396 emblem/side light removed and the Yenko 427 emblem installed with the side light to a base car that has no engine emblem here are some photos showing the different combos The photo posted of his car shows the base car side light but I don't know if the 427 holes are there. |
The holes were there. They've been filled.

Nice did the guy post that somewhere other than the Nova thread on FB?
|
Yes other people shared it to other FB pages

My nomination for “Find Of The Year”.

Like Kurt B. mentioned on FB this needs to be brought to MCACN for the barn finds display.
|
So if he confirms it was delivered to Yenko it's at least a COPO and maybe he can track down more info. Did he share pics of the cluster, those are different for COPO's right?
