Mir has never been the same since his accident... either Mir or Randy in their prime would have put it on Brock . I hope the UFC doesn't do what boxing has done... start matching passed their prime guys up with a name that they think can be a draw yet still look good gainst one another . Bring on the new blood !! Brock will always have a gassing problem no matter how hard he works out..... it goes with the territory . I would rather see GSP and Silva or Florian and BJ than Brock fight . I do not think he will get much better . Put Brock in with Fedor

^^ This. Fedor would destroy Brock at this stage IMO. Fedor is to HW what A. Silva is to MW. I would love to watch it though.

Back in the day, Mir could flat GO! Not even 1/2 the guy he used to be...which is a shame, and has to be frustrating. GSP is another one of those freaky athletic guys, and I've always liked Ken-Flo, as he seems to always get overlooked, but then flat gets it done...not sure Brock could hang with Fedor, but I'm not sure who else in that top class is worth watching? If I *never* see another Tim Silvia fight that would be fine with me...!

Randy was gassed at the end of the 1st round as well. go back and look at him sitting on the stool. He was sucking a ton of wind as well. Lesnar was winning the fight before the knockdown punch. The skys the limit for Brock. Would be nice to see a rematch with Mir.

Have to disagree with ya there,Randy was ahead on points till he got nicked IMO. Lesnar prevailed,it only goes on the scoreboard one way.

Rob,call me crazy but I think Gonzaga might match up well against Brock. Big body,BJJ,Heavy hands and we all know what he did to Krokop.

If you remember Bob Sapp, He is also a huge guy and very athletic, Nogueira took him out with an arm bar

just saw the replay, they were both gassed. Randy was breathing very hard through his mouth and his chest was expanding and contracting hard. Lesnar's tell tale sign is he starts turning red! such is the life of a guy with fare skin!!

Looks worse than I originally thought from this angle, compared to when I saw it Saturday night...a shot behind the ear, from an insanely strong 275 pound, whose hand is big enough to require a specially made glove...!

I agree....after the fight you can hear Brock... the first thing he says to one of his guys is ," get me a stool"

Randy should have taken a page out of Roy Jones Jr. Fighting the dancing clown..the bumb, I mean the Quite Man . Stick and move , stick and move.. I think if Randy had a little better game plan he could have given himself a better chance of winning. Getting Brock to the third or fourth round was key but what I was afraid would happen did. A semi glancing blow from a guy, who probably weighed about 285 the night of the fight , would be enough to knock out most. Randy actually took the shot pretty damn well. A lot of guys would have went to sleeeeeeeeep . I like the the Gonzaga match up too. I think that kid could tune Brock up.

Couture was just lucky he fell. Brock was looking for a grasp and was loading up the right knee. They migh of been picking Randy up out of the upperdeck.
