I think that Opel GT belongs to John's brother Alan. John runs a 69 corvette in SS/AA and had a killer 1969 camaro in Super B for many years.

Hello Norcam!
I love this thread- been away for a few weeks and really like the progress!
What stoke did you decide on for the hotter street motor? Cubic inches?
Great info on the M/T Super Scavengers- I had a few sets repro'd by GS Buick Club in 80's- early 90's. They sound like Nothing Else- uncorked with a big cam!!
They were chromed back then, wish I hung on to a set. The orange coating looks really tough. I like white headers too for a vintage look.
Wasn't there a brand of headers that were gold back in 70's??
Great thread and thanks for all the effort sharing this build- great amounts of knowledge here- no matter what direction a guy is thinking on his own build. Very Cool.
Jerry

Was thinking 396" small block but ended up going 3.750 stroke and 5.7" rods for a bulletproof 383. Motor will still be a few weeks and headers are off being ceramic coated right now. I have a couple other projects to work on in the interim but should be back on this soon.

Header Porn

Here are the finished headers from Nathan Schmitt at Sweet Ave. Fabrication. Killer design, made to fit the chassis and fit the way they should, and designed to have that sound that is second to none. M/T Style Scavengers for Big Block or Small Block builds and finished in Ceramic Coat colors.

I am very impressed!!!

Those were Ceramic Coated through Nate. He uses that header outfit in Minneapolis that specializes in Ceramics.

It was an LS6 car they were working on a couple years ago. Dusk blue with stock wheels and tires from the looks of it. I believe he's had a few through his shop from the pics on their FB page. These guys do real nice work.
