My 1972 Camaro has this same upper rod and crank...now I will admit that I bought it in 1978 when it was 6 years old, but it seems odd that it has this part on it, that is why I assumed it was the same for all 2nd Gen F bodies. My Camaro has a Muncie in it not a T10.

After I posted this, I did try to remember where I might have got this from. It was with some Hurst linkage that came out of a 72 Camaro and had been running a `67 L88, and a Muncie.
I looked at the Hurst linkage and saw it has a reverse lever that will accept the backdrive rod. Maybe the 72 Camaro owner adapted it to his car somehow. |
