Default Re: Engine Block Repair

I'm here to tell you that this process DOES work ! I have a customer motor that I recently completed that had a similar problem. 413 Cross Ram Mopar. Numbers matching for a 1 of 75 '61 300G Convertible. Crack on the outside of the block. We "stiched" it and not only is there no more problem, but you'd be hard pressed to see the work. My first coat of paint on the engine, and you couldn't see it anymore. GOOD LUCK !!!!

Neat car Casey. Quite rare. Now that is a CROSS RAM! About 30" runners if I recall.

One of the machine shop customers I called on for many years before I retired, showed me how they did the lock-n-stich repair on the inside of diesel farm tractor cylinder heads. They claimed it was the only to go. Said they had been doing it that way for three generations and it beat welding all to h.... Gotta love something that works.
