			Wow. It sounds like you found out its  repairable and also what a fair price was even though you werent even sure if you should buy it 4 hours ago. 			It would help if you could post some pictures of the areas needing repairs. Where in CA are you? I know a guy here that is pretty good. He fixes aluminum intakes for me all the time and fixed a ZL1 for me in the past.

	There used to be a machine shop that did high quality aluminum block repairs on Washington Blvd. in Whittier off the 605 He had a bunch of rare blocks he was just sitting on for years. Trying to remember the name of the place, but definitely remember the $8KUS to resleeve one cylinder (plus the repair) they did on one of Vic Edebrock prototype aluminum 427's about 10 years ago.
