Default Re: Big Block casting # Hi perf ?

Yup,for the price(little enough ! ) I couldnt pass, complete and not full of water/rust,seems like any big block is getting hard to find these days. Thanks for the input,as a side note, how do I go about posting pics ? Customer dropped off a car, sitting in grandmas garage since 1979(when grandpa died) kids put a battery in it and drove it down to me.Want to get it tuned up and drivable ! 1967 mustang fastback,390 Auto,A/C with a working 8 track, original paint, interior everything ! I can barely type after drooling alll over this thing.I realize its not a supercar, but to see one drive in at all, seems kinda cool to me.Tried to give them my corvette and take the mustang but NO WAY,not grandpas old car. What a bummer !

Have you deteremined whether yr motor is a 4 bolt or not? Drop the pan or check out the hole configuration by the oil galley.
