How do I read the date code here for a smog pump?
I will give a complete uneducated guess: 1-25-9 1(?) S(Saginaw) Once again, I have never attempted to decipher these stampings before, so this is a complete guess!!!

I didn't see a pulley number. Is it 3927116? If so, is it stamped in a straight line next to one of the mounting holes or is is in a slight arc closer to the edge of the pulley.
The pump is dated 1969. See the diverter valve images at the end of Kurt's article for the stamping location. The number that you had was a casting number for part of the assembly.
