My Opinion- this is a fair statement. Mark, you are right, $5,000.00 would have been a good offer and I should have taken that. I haggled over $500 and the guy walked and used a rebuilt block in his chevelle. My loss.

At $2K, four years later, seems cheap.

Bad Mood? The shop was looted again this last week. Second time since the storm. I have had to take the rare stuff home (which wife loves ) although "they" and "them" only seem to steal tools, computers, napa batteries, air compressors and a pontiac firebird. Cops are burnt out (or heck, may be even helping?). Been over 100 days since the storm and still no insurance check, and the business insurance claims it was a flood event so they do not want to pay up either.
You guys watch Christmas Vacation? That's how it is at my house (which, I am blessed that I am one of the few who still has a home). Brother, his wife, two kids and their inside dog (who likes to crap in my home office on the carpet, hates me, growls when I come into my own house) and worst of all, his lamborghini "kit" car that has been 50% finished for the last four years, and was submurged under 13 feet of muddy water for two weeks or so.
Oh how the neighborhood association lovvvves me now!
At least hurricane season is over!
