Marc I was not trying to nail ya. Sorry if it came off like that. All I was trying to say is that the dealers are entered by different people as time goes by. If a dealer is not in the database it is probably because no one has entered it yet for one reason or another.

Guys, I just got off the phone with my brother-in-law. He took the VIN# from my 69 Nova and is going to get one of his "connected" cop friends to get me a NCIB report. I have never had a car checked through this and I would like to know exactly what it will tell me. He said to give him a week. So what's on this report??

probably just the zone and dealer #'s, maybe more, but I've had some come back with nothing. Apparently, if the dealership was really small, or didn't subscribe to the NICB, then they won't have a record.

You can view the copy of the invoice I have in the tech. and resto forum.If I remember right it's titled "69BB Nova- pics added" I'm going to go try to bump it up to the front now. It's a terrible copy but by turning your head sideways and squinting you can see it OK.

Hey! I did find something on the NJ State Business name search, this is how it is listed 1 AMERICAN BY CAR, INC. (CHARLIE COLLINS CHEVROLET ) And as far as I can tell they are still in business.
