![]() Thanks an amazing finish on a 40+ year old ID tag. What are the particulars of that vehicle? In other words, was the trans out of the car and stored inside for many years? I found a CX trans that was removed in 1970 and stored in a garage, but the ID tag still looks 40 years old. What's the secret? here is the link of the car in question.https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...e/0#Post339830 the only secret is that the car is a lo-mile Ca. car. I believe it spent a major portion of it's life stored indoors...at least from the 80's, probably longer. I hope this helps? I messed up the tag by putting steam on the case and accidentally hit the tag and peeled a little paint of the bottom...DOH! Nuch [/ QUOTE ] |
