The list is missing a few rally codes. DA, DG, YS are few missing off the list.

Well lets make this a little more interesting !!
![]() I just dug them off the shelf - - and I was partially wrong ... I have 2 *DG* coded 15", and 2 *FW* coded 15"ers.... The *DG*'s are 15x6" and the "FW"'s are 15x7". Interestingly enough - - the slots on the two are different sizes ?? I thought it was an optical illusion (or too many beers last nite ..), but I measured them, and sure-enough the slots are different. The *DG*'s slot measures 1 1/8" x 3 1/8" and the *FW*'s slot measures 1" x 3". I can't find a date code on the *DG*'s at all, but the *FW*'s are K-1-5, so the assumption is that they are 1975. Both are Kelsey-Hayes wheels. Go figure ![]() So now I have 2 different styles of rallye wheels that I don't know what the application is for ..... ![]() Here's some pix .... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And "YES", they are 15" rims ....... ![]() |

Is there any complete lists of original wheels complete with the codes and dates?? I run across a lot of these at swap and flea markets.

It is very interesting because that DG stamp looks just like the ones found on the 14x6 Camaro SS rally's with disc brakes. The early ones had no date codes by the stem.
How long have you had the wheels? I got a feeling someone at some time made a set of DG wheels for there car. Look for a code JJ or JK on the inside of the rim. This might help. Look in the bolt hole area for a buld date of some sort as well. I have never hear of a 15" DG coded wheel. DC yes but not DG. DG was also one year only that I know of as well. Rick |

Already Rol-Lok'd the hub area of the rim. No date code. I doubt very much that anyone bothered to change the code on these wheels. They have been with the car (my Biscayne) AT LEAST since '82.
Kinda like the '68 15x6" steel wheels coded "XT" .... similar - - yet different. Everyone knows about the "XT" 14x7" HD wheels. Similar/same codes, different years and applications. |

Yo Casey,
are there any letters stamped in the center area of the wheel? I've seen Norris Technology chevy steel wheels that didn't have a date code by the valve stems. The only dates were stamped in the drop area that is hidden when a tire on the rim. They had a NT stamped on a flat area near the stud holes to identify them as the manufacturer.

Nope. These are all Kelsey-Hayes wheels. The *DG*'s have the "KH" stamped on one of the "humps" in the hub area. Same size and font of the *DG* stamp.
