Wow what a great topic this is! I am a HUGE day 2 fan myself and day 2ed the heck out of my Chevelle but for some reason I have held out on the Yenko. When I first got it I bought all the NOS vintage speed parts for it that I have in the basement ready to go. Maybe......

Day 2 is great because the car just looks, sounds, and probably drives better with the parts on it. It is also good for the guys that have a nice car that they don't want to hear all the nitpickers bash on.

Two of my day 2 rules are as follows. NO radials or modern batteries. Don't call your car a day 2 car if the above is attached to your car! There are other alternatives like Battery Toppers and repop "vintage" style Mickey Thompson or Pro Trac tires.

Whitetop give them the "Daves list" of parts NOT to put on your day 2 car.
