Belair
I will have to go through my catalogs this weekend. I looked at the better pic of the car on the main page and the center caps are not bullet shaped but are like the ET "Super" wheels which caps were oval shaped with a flat top.The spoked of the wheels are also flat. Looking at the better pic I'm not sure if they are Rogues. Some 2nd tier companies made wheels like these in the mid '60's like Foresight Ventures, Durachrome etc. |

Don was paying them to do the changes to make them identifiable as Yenkos. Don't think he felt he needed the Hurst immage like the Hurst olds, or AMC Hurst scramblers. Cronkleton's blue deuce that was at the reunion is also a "Hurst Yenko". It's either the last, or 2nd to last built. Schonye

I know I am getting hardning of the arteries, but I still don't understand what Hurst was doing with the Deuces. Did these cars go from GM to Yenko to Hurst then to a dealer? I was dropped alot as a child, so be nice.

Some went from GM, to Hurst, to the selling dealer. Some may have gone back to Yenko. Hoopers yellow deuce, sold from Yenko may have been slated to come back to Yenko for sale, not transfer to another dealer. We don't know about Cronkleton's as Ericksen's in Milan Ill. doesn't show up anywhere as a Yenko dealer. We know it wasn't a dealer transfer as the window sticker states Ericksen chev. S.
