This is where I am after 16 hours of wet sanding, buffing and a set of wheels and tires that were taking up space. I am happy with the way the car is, except for the drivetrain, which has to go. I think I have narrowed it down to two choices. The first would be a small block manual trans car with a vintage trans-am racer look, slightly lowered with minilite wheels and road race type tires. The second alternative would be a 427/425 type motor (haven't decided on manual or turbo 400 trans) but the look for the outside would be a 1969 copo look, with no badges, no stripes, in early drag race mode, rallye wheels, no hubcaps or trim rings, street slicks and narrow front tires. Any opinions? As some of you know I have a hard time deciding what to do. In any event the plans for this car do not call for cutting it up in any way.

I can't get the picture to post, as I think it's too large.

I have located a 69 427/435 horse motor (aftermarket intake and carb) with a turbo 400, that I think I am going to use for the car. When I am done I think I will be in to this for low 20ish, and that includes paying myself back for the value of donated wheel/tires, correct power disc brake set up, etc. So the next question is, what is a very nice, never rusted, original interior 68 obviously non original drivetrain, camaro worth? I don't like to be upside down on these projects by alot on these projects? Oh, and while this is going to be a very nice car, I am not taking it apart and doing a complete restoration so the underside is going to be driver quality for sure. Thanks for the help.
