Norm,
Take another look...I think the HEMI got to the finish line .008 sec in front of the Buick. I believe it has something to do with the reaction time.

Yes you are right the Hemi got off a little sooner
But I have to say that I do not agree with the rules [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
I for one would not waste my gas It would seem that both cars were equal It really takes away from what the sport is about and takes all the fun out of it Its been many many years since I raced at Acto my guess things have really changed Back then you would run as hard as you could to beat the car you were racing and not worry about going to fast

Seems the Buick was running headers and dot stickies!..... the hemi was running exhaust manifolds
and G70-14's poly's!..... oops!
