Very popular where I grew up....their slogan and song were great.

My father used to buy about a dozen cases of Schaefer around every Memorial day and stack them in the garage to supply a beer dedicated Frig there. The garage would basically stay open for the whole summer, lol,and the neighborhood would stop by regularly to grab a beer. Mailman, Meter reader guy, everybody, would just stop and help themselves. If the Frig was running low, load it with fresh Schaefer was the rule. Good Times...

My Dad and Uncle's favorite beer years ago!!! Along with their Manhattan's and Whiskey sours!!!
