My father used to buy about a dozen cases of Schaefer around every Memorial day and stack them in the garage to supply a beer dedicated Frig there. The garage would basically stay open for the whole summer, lol,and the neighborhood would stop by regularly to grab a beer. Mailman, Meter reader guy, everybody, would just stop and help themselves. If the Frig was running low, load it with fresh Schaefer was the rule. Good Times...

Last time was at a Mets game in the 70s.
That slogan would stay with you.

Gotta say ive never heard of that beer.

When the beer either ran out or it started having a skunk taste to it, you knew winter was just around the corner.

My Dad and Uncle's favorite beer years ago!!! Along with their Manhattan's and Whiskey sours!!!
Those made for fun family parties!!

Fond memories of my grandmother sipping a whiskey sour back in the 70s.
