I’ve thought about doing this on a Bridgeport. What tool did you use, and how did it turn out?

Just a standard boring bar with 5/8" bar and carbide insert. I think they turn out nice but sometimes you do get some chatter. I had to really slow down the spindle speed to almost the min the machine would run to make it all work.
