That car pretty much epitomizes what roughly 70% of the 'cool' cars running the streets back in the day looked like, at least in the suburban Chicago area where I lived most of my life. A few were more radical, some were left pretty much stock appearing, but if you were one of the hot shoes (or at least a wannabe), this was the look you were going for.
