The bottom line is don't buy a rare car that has a stamper motor and no valid paperwork. It could have been born something else and you'll probably find out the hard way.
I'm sure the fact that the motor was restamped would have been detected by a knowledgeable person. The only thing you have to go on after that is paperwork, and without that you're out on a limb. No motor or no paperwork = no sale in my book. |
