I used a clamp-on tow bar, once, to tow my old GS convertible out of the original owner's backyard and ~50 miles back to my college. Way scary, even for an 18 year old, which is saying something.

I recently pulled an old Chevelle race car out of a yard and flat towed it to my house. It had tow tabs on it and I had the tow bar handy, what could go wrong It was even more sketchy since the car had no motor in it and skinnies up front, didn’t want to track properly. It was definitely an eye opening experience.
