Well, you asked for opinions. That is all this is.
Never heard of a ZL-1 going in a Chevelle. Trans has a drain plug, but the suffix (B) indicates M21, which would not have a drain plug. My guess? The P9S05B (Muncie, Nov. 5, 1968 for the 1969 model year) and the partial vin may be legit. Someone added the prototype and XX-00 - ZL 1.
