This car was a nothing car as found, who knows what happened to the trim tag. With a state assigned vin anything is possible. I don't see why anyone would have cared about the tag in as found condition, it was not an expensive car. I am an experienced tig welder. It would be almost impossible to weld the thin aluminum of a trim tag with a tig welder without burning through it.

There could be another 40 1967 Camaro vins like this on the list of 107 "Yenko Super Camaros" that was sent to NHRA by Yenko Sports Cars on Aug. 7, 1967 . Ghost cars
