Not surprised to hear that on a car that was raced---especially if it was a stocker. We used to "stagger" the front wheels, too. When you are searching for 1/100s of a second, every little bit helps! It ain't cheatin' if you don't get caught!!! Stocker guys are a breed of their own.

One of the old crusty Master Chiefs that would come on to our ships in the Navy to inspect us prier to deployment told us as we were correcting some discrepancies "If your not cheating, your not trying".

Well it's been bad weather the past two weeks and have not had a chance to check measurements but I was able to pull out some parts that were on the car when I purchased. Has anyone seen a drive shaft loop like this one. Also the traction bars I'm sure there lakewood but from what period the bump stop looks to be of the early style.What do you guys think?
