Default Re: Filter Foam for a Fly Eye Air Cleaner???

There's a local racer here in my area that runs one on his '66 Fairlane. He uses two thin layers of material in his: one appears to be Scotchbrite type material with a layer of foam on top. Probably about ¾" total thickness but it compresses enough to get the snap ring in place. Don't know how it would handle a "flash" though.
