[ QUOTE ]
R79W,and it wasn't just early assemblies,as the majority (99.9%) of them came with it. The R-89W was the exception for a couple very late builds ONLY,(mid July 70-Aug.70),at some plants. I few early LS-6 builds also received the R-59S top post, but they are by far the exception. [/ QUOTE ] Interesting thread, so here's a question. My Bal LS6(12B) has an R79 ,but there was a sheet for smallblock elco found under the dynamat that was eight digits earlier, called for an R-59. Are there documented later built Bal LS6'S with R59's ? |
