Brian, you should keep it out of the hot Carloina sun...best thing would be to ship it up to me...in cold and gloomy NY

Love that body style...the car looks great!! What engine..??

Some of the other experts will have an answer about the top...I'm just a fan. Good luck..wilma

[/ QUOTE ]You would have a really hard time getting this car away from my wife! Her first car ride was in this car when she was a newborn! Her parents restored it and gave it to her on our wedding day in 2007!

I said resto but it's more like "resto-mod" because it has a 291 ci Hemi out of a '55 DeSoto, 700R4 trans, SSBC 4-wheel disc brakes, 4:10 posi, Keystone Klassic wheels, etc.

I'll post a thread with more pictures in the "Other Muscle" section when I get a chance.

Thanks guys.

A lot of people can only wish they had in-laws like that

I remember that resto, a four door donor car was involved?

Really looks great.

I used plain old Fantastik with a scrub brush back in the day for my white vert top. Now I would imagine Simple Green would be the way to go for a good cleaning.
