68 Z. They "sold" it to a family friend before I got there, for $7K. Should I go back and see if it could be "unsold" for more? It has a non-numbers DZ in it now.

Is there any paperwork or other documentation to prove it is a Z? If that rear differential pictured (10 bolt) is in that car it is missing the engine, transmission (has auto installed) and rear end and with a 68 it is nearly impossible to prove it is a Z/28 without original paperwork or original drive train.

Eric, did you happen to get any of the VIN's for the first gen Camaros? I'd like to add them to the database if possible.

[/ QUOTE ] That's good to know. The reason for clearing out the yard, is the two brothers who own it are fighting. I bought one brothers share, but the 68 Z belongs to the other brother, and I've have no contact with him. Although his house is here at the yard, and I could go knock on the door.

The rear bumper guards on 68-69 Z's were the larger ones which straddled the bumper and had a rubber insert. The second gen Z's have the fangs below.
