68 Z. They "sold" it to a family friend before I got there, for $7K. Should I go back and see if it could be "unsold" for more? It has a non-numbers DZ in it now.

The rest of the cars are in a diffrent part of the yard. I'll get pix of them, when I go back on Sunday.

Is there any paperwork or other documentation to prove it is a Z? If that rear differential pictured (10 bolt) is in that car it is missing the engine, transmission (has auto installed) and rear end and with a 68 it is nearly impossible to prove it is a Z/28 without original paperwork or original drive train.

That's good to know. The reason for clearing out the yard, is the two brothers who own it are fighting. I bought one brothers share, but the 68 Z belongs to the other brother, and I've have no contact with him. Although his house is here at the yard, and I could go knock on the door.

The rear bumper guards on 68-69 Z's were the larger ones which straddled the bumper and had a rubber insert. The second gen Z's have the fangs below.
