Bud,
I've used a Brunnhoelzl alum. jack for more than ten years now and have never had a problem with it. I bought it when light weight jacks were not as prolific as they are today and I needed a light one. It's USA made, and from what I've seen is a much better quality than most of these later entries in the market (possibly from a foreign country). Unfortunately even in our "recession" they are as pricey today as ten years ago. Although sometimes you get what you pay for. ![]()

I have it. Got it as a gift last year. I love it. I was a little nervous at first, because of the light weight, but it's solid. I use if for my lawn tractors too...where the nose of it is much lower than my steel jack and can squeeze into tighter areas.
