Same here. I had an L35 in my '68 Chevelle but a friend ordered the 327 that came with a Saginaw 4 speed. White car/blue guts/buckets and no console. Cool car, and ran like stink. Finally found out,............. L79 car!
Even the '68 version of the L79 was a stout little package.
