I just restored my muncie shifter and found out that the 70
shifter has a gm part number on the bottom of the handle
3973864 and the rods are #s 1437 #9192 and 1438 GM aparently made many shifters over the years and the 70 chevelle has these numbers these numbers might also be used on other models ?
