dont cut a 4spd unit ever!
buy a 3spd shifter cut it off take the grinder and cut the same marks on the bottom as the Hurst handle drill two holes bolt on and go bang gears....sorry Craig I know how you feel about the factory shifters but how many 3spd shifters do we need around correctly restored???.. I plan to whack a 3spd model as soon as I find one that is not a total turd.
