I have heard that the two-hole bolt-in style are all aftermarket, vs the square-hole snap-in style which tends to be all OEM installed.
But I don't know if this is true.

Here is a guy that knows a lot more than I do about Hurst shifters....he was able to answer a part number question I posed.
