I own a 67 camaro I purchased back in 05 and had fully restored between 07-09.I purchased it because I wanted to restore a 67 camaro. I picked this car for it's options, rs/ss 396/325,deluxe interior, bolero red black top, headrest bucket seats. The car had lakewood traction bars, driveshaft loop, manual choke in the dash.
A 68 12 bolt BV code 4:10 with 5 leaf springs carpet removed, rear battery. The seats had all been removed but stored inside, except driver seat, Ok so here's the question a few months ago I was cleaning engine compartments on this car and my other 67 unrestored BB and noticed my hand was a little harder to get between the firewall of the restored car. When I took measurements the motor was an inch closer to the firewall. But for the life of me I can't see where the difference is. The engine and motor stands all measure 1 inch closer to firewall. Any ideas? Tony
