In general,that's true.Z being the higher letter I think he means, as in CA vs. CY.
High performance applications generally got higher part numbers. As they assigned numbers,the docile got the beginning,then greater numbers were assinged to go fast & heavy duty stuff. This wasn't ALWAYS the case,but mostly.
