Default Re: Color coding NOS SHP parts

When parts left a certain dept. the end packout guy or last man put a dab of paint to show he checked it before it left. The colors differed by shift, days may use purple and afternoons may have used yellow.

A lot of times marks were made to show a part had been thru a process already.

And certain models of parts get dabs to quickly I.D. them.
