I just talked to the seller this past weekend at a local car show we attended. He was there in a beautiful green LS6 and told me that he had another black one (this car). If anyone needs an up close inspection let me know. I am not affiliated with the selling of this car.

Arlington was stingy w/buildsheets,but if it's holding one, chances are it's between the sound deadner and the floorboards.I would aim for the drivers side heel pad first.
Besides the 3 mentioned,I know of 2 more Black LS-6 claimed survivors located in and around Illinois. They seem to be the flavor of the month. |

Dan Steakley Chev. Co. in Temple, Texas was dealer 700 in zone 07. I have a window sticker from a '64 that I bought that came from there.

The vinyl top on this car is an aftermarket add-on, which explains the absence of the vinyl top code on the tag. The moldings don't follow the same contour as original pieces.

Anyone else notice the 71 intake with the numbers on it. Why was the column out, missing the the toe gaurd, insulation, the dash has been done as well. Can't tell for shure but some one has spent was too much time on the survivor car underneath , nice late model posi tag.. The shift lens is a 71, the lens is cloudy on the dash and is that a 71 radio. True someone could have juiced the equippment for resale. I don't mean to pick but thes are just a couple of obvious things.

I'm back, Pearl interior cars had Black headliners, So thats been changed Too!!!. More importantly L@@k at the Vin stamp picture. Not at the stamp but at the alternator brace. Hmmmm, Yes Guys it has 73 up heads that take a bolt into instead of the stud for the alt. We can't see the Broach marks, but now Heads, Intake, Exhaust manifolds, all the pulleys are wrong, not a one is deep groove. Good luck to the Buyer of this car. I think the only thing that survived was the Vin!!!!!!!!!!
