This is what I use and it matches perfectly.

NAPA Martin Senour Paints Argent Aluminum Silver #7245.

It's the TECnique brand. Any NAPA auto parts store can get it for you.

Quanta no longer sells this paint but OEM paints does...my problem is getting it shipped to Canada. It's not economicaly possible to ship paint up here due to hazmat shipping costs so that is why I need a formula and have it mixed locally. There are a few NAPAs in town though so I'll try them and I might get lucky.
The more I look into this I'm thinking that it is a Corvette only thing because the Corvette's rallys were primed in a semi gloss BLACK and then sprayed from the front only with this strange silver-green color. With the rest of the Chevrolet muscle car rallys having a grey type of primer it is almost certain that the wheels were painted in different locations and could have also used a different paint formula.

I believe all rallys were dip primed in black at K-H and then painted at the individual assembly plants.
Don't recall seeing an original wheel primed in gray......

IMO, KURT S is correct! I recently refinished 6 original YH wheels, and when i glass beaded them i found blobs of black paint as though they were dipped. These blobs appeared to be runs from dipping. No grey primer of any kind was ever found, just black.
I used PPG 8568 Argent silver and then a Matte clear 20%. I also used Sickens rally black on the wheels first. They look MINT, not too shiny, and the colour is great.
I personaly dont like using rattle cans, as the paint does not stand up that well, probably from a lack of hardeners or catalysts etc.
I think that the green hue is for 67 and earlier corvette rallys.
Hope this helps. Mike.
