I don't know if it's what you want but GM did have an aluminum shield for both straight bore and spread, if it is what your looking for I will try to get you the numbers Monday at work.

They have two gaskets stapled to the plate and firing order stamped, they were very cheap. I may still have one around the shop if they are discontinued

I did order one from GM a few years ago for my big block/Holley set-up. They call it an insulator assembly or "INSUL ASM". Group #3.726 in the parts books. The part number on the one I have is 3969835. If this same one would work for your application, try calling a dealer and see if it's still around.

Tom
I couldn't verify that the number Mark gave was correct, I had trouble figuring out where I found the numbers. I think I got them out of a magazine years ago and then found them in a GM truck parts catalog that is long gone. I do still have an old Corvette paper catalog that listed a 3969837, I think that may be the Qjet one. At any rate, they are both discontinued. I ran a locator for you and here are the dealers still showing to have one, good luck.

They're on Ebay occasionally with starting bids between $10-20.00 NOS in GM Envelope,& end with no bidders.
You can find them.
