----Rick,,,,I have only ever seen one other Chevelle with that relay held on like that I can remember and I owned it. That car was the most heavily optioned SS 454/360 T-400 convertable I had ever seen. Bet there are others out there though....Bill S

Would that happen to be this car? The TCS relay is currently held on with a bolt but is the highest optioned LS5 auto convert I have ever come across with documentation.

SALE PENDING, I just took a deposit on the car. Thanks sYc for the ad & to all the members who responded. That little bit of dirt & dust on the Chevelle is nothing compared to this 1969 L89 Corvette w/6,138 original miles I bought in 2014, also a local 2 owner car with all documentation from Sutliff Chevrolet in Harrisburg, PA.

In the mean time, here are a couple pics of the L89 Corvette carefully cleaned & entered its 1st ever NCRS event in Altoona PA, Terry was using it for his judging class all weekend. |

Hate to hijack such a cool thread, but does anyone know where I can get a metal carb spacer like this one? I have to run a carb spacer on my 68 El Camino so the air cleaner assy will clear the large body HEI distributor.

Right now I have a plastic one on place, and it "works" but is a PITA when removing the air filter. Never mind. Found one.
