need the latest date in 69 possible of a 480 distributor....let me know what you have and price.....thanks alot

I have a 10A build Z/28 with 14,000 original miles, that has a PA inspection sticker from October 31, 1973 on the windshield. It has a 9A20 480 distributor in it. I have no reason to believe that it was changed. All bets are off on late cars.

Ed,

Not sure about Franks 480 date but I would certainly agree with him regarding "end of the run" cars. They had already stopped making many of the dated parts by October so I suspect that your car would have a few early stamped parts since they would be "reaching into the bottom of the parts bin". It would not surprise me to see a late Z non Z related parts because they may have run out.

One owner car,i specifically asked the original owner if it was ever changed and he verified that it wasnt..
