Is the water pump casting number the same for 1970 L78 and LS6 motors?
What would be the correct water pump casting number for a January 1970 L78 Camaro? Thanks in advance for your help, you guys have ALL the knowledge... -SAm

3931065 casting # for your L78 Sam, including LS6 Chevelles. Late L78's and LS6's also used 3969811.

Thanks Tony,
Was the 3969811 only used on 1971 models?

The 69 SS396 Camaros also received the 3931065 water pump, which carried over to early built L78's.
