I think both the 2LG and 4k codes look very suspicious, compared to the 3SL code, which IMO is authentic/original to the tag.

The 4K looks strange to me as well. What's up with that grill emblem? If that car is a BB 396 car then why have a SS 350 emblem? I got it, they forgot to remove the grill emblem when he swapped out the motor. Yeah, that's it. ![]() Plus, what RPO is that space saver tire?? Rick H. |

This car is coded as an L78 (4K), and from my research this option was introduced sometime in March of 67. There is no way that this car is a true 12A built L78. The L35 was introduced prior to the L78 and 12A is too early for that.
