Hey guys there's an add in the local paper here for a 69 Z28 010 CE block, with original crank and the pink rods. Crank is 20/20 with new bearings and the bores are standard and in good condition. But there are a couple hair line cracks in the lifter valleys that need to be repaired. The price is $1500.00 CDN. Is this a good deal??? .2qwik2c.

A hair like crack in the lifter valley would be about like having a hairlike crack in your head if you bought it.
Bad news. A CE block is a replacment motor and did not come from the factory in a Z-28 either. I would be very carefull with that one. Pantera

Don't touch it unless it's free, even the crank is suspect being cut 20/20.
