SBC Valve Cover extenders Wanted
Anybody have a set of used Valve cover extenders they want get rid of cheap??,I Have the makeings of a Alum head motor for the car but want to run the stock Valve covers, if I can.
Does anyone know if I can sqeak them under the A/C compressor with the extenders?? I dont have the comp on the car to measure, it is up in the attic in a box right now, anyway thanx for any help. Bud.

If they are for the 67 w/air I would say they won't fit.The rear compressor bracket will hit as well as the bottom side of the compressor.Very little clearance on that right side....

Thnx that is what I was afraid of, I have some old Black and white pics and it looked tight.
I am haveing a real need for speed but wanted the car to look correct under the hood to Mr Average, Besides it looks pretty bad with the comp and parts off the car. Bud.
