And the L34 is WAY down on production numbers to the L78. I think there was only 1500 L34's sold in '69 Nova's. I think there was over 7000 L78's though..

-1947 with RPO L34 396/350hp -5262 with RPO L78 396/375hp The car shown looks like a nice Nova...there are a number of minor detail items and some of description info is not correct, but overall it looks pretty good. You probably couldn't buy a car and have a resto done for that amount...worth a look. -wilma

Think it was because for a few hundred more $ you could get the L78 and 25 more ponies. This is a very nice car and it's priced fairly IMO.You could probably dicker and get it for $45k-47K.

Very nice car and one I would fly out to see if it were another color perhaps. I'm looking for a decent Nova and an L34 would fit the bill fine for me in another color.
![]() Thanks for the link.

It's funny, the paint on that Nova almost looks satin on my monitor. Weird.

same here...I think it's just the light diffusers used to provide a "softer" appearance. Note even the bumpers don't "pop" like you'd expect from chrome.

Thanks Wilma. I knew there was a lot more L78's.
I agree though. A nice 4 sp L34 would be a nice driver car, but the color does it now justice. Now, the side vents???? Wasn't some all chrome? and some painted with just like 1/4" showing chrome???
